Everyday Farm is located at 469 Main Rd, Gill, MA. Come by any Saturday, 11am-5pm, June-October. Eggs, bread, and farm shares!
Everyday Farm was started 2017 on family land by Hannah Sol and Joseph Connelly. They started to farm with the shared to goal of growing healthy food for themselves and then for others. They started with market gardening and had the first Farm Share program in 2018. Soon after came eggs, fruit trees, pork, and lamb.
The land is owned by Hannah’s parents who do a lot to help the farm. Andy is the owner of the dump truck and chief builder of egg-mobiles and the hoop-house. Jen bakes sourdough bread to sell during Farm Share pick-ups and farmers markets and plans, maintains, and harvests all the cut flowers. Hannah’s brothers Sam and Toby can also be found helping occasionally with weeding, harvesting, picking potato bugs, and moving mulch! Grandmother Karen who was once a dairy farmer on the same land is always walking up the hill looking for peas, green beans, or strawberries. Three generations living on the same land and helping each other out!
Everyday Farm is on family land that goes back to Hannah’s great-grandfather who started a dairy farm called Captain Kidd Island Farm. It was then taken over by Hannah’s grandparents and was an active dairy until the mid 70s. In 2009 Andy and Jen built a house up the hill from the original house and planted fruit trees, blueberries, raspberries, and started gardens
