Join our Meat CSA!

How does it work? At the beginning of each month I will send out an email with farm news and a reminder for an upcoming Meat CSA pick-up, you order on our website (scroll down to the bottom of the page) or email me back to submit your order for that pick-up. Payment will be cash, check, or venmo when you pick up your meat. Meat will be frozen and boxed/bagged, bringing a cooler for transport is helpful.

Lamb Shares:

Our 100% grass-fed and grass-finished lamb comes from our flock of Katahdin Hair Sheep. Our lambs are born on the farm and raised without grain feeding, or routine flock wide antibiotic or dewormer use. We believe that the key to producing good grass-fed lamb is careful attention to grass management. During the grazing season we move our flock to fresh forage every day or two at a high density using temporary electric fencing rather than allowing them to spread out across a whole field or farm. This not only allows us to grow more high quality grass to graze more sheep per acre, but keeps most of our fields resting most of the time which prevents overgrazing and encourages diversity in plant, and wildlife communities in our meadows. Our sheep can be seen grazing in Gill, Bernardston, and Leyden. When the grass runs out during the non growing season we provide a bedded barn for the ewes, and feed locally produced hay.

Chicken Shares:

The broilers (meat chickens) at Meadowfed Farm in Hadley, MA are moved daily behind the rotating sheep paddocks, scratching through the grasses the sheep have grazed, further dispersing the nutrient-rich manure, and depositing their own. They help to re-seed pastures with the natural seedbed, help manage pests- and most importantly, grow grow grow. Also fed non-gmo grain. These chickens are the schmaltzy birds of your dreams. Big, tender, juicy & seriously delicious. We are excited to be partnering with our friends at Meadowfed Farm to provide our Meat CSA with pasture-raised chicken!

Beef Shares:

Our 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef begins with started calves we buy from other local farms. They are moved every 1-3 days onto fresh pasture during the growing season and in the winter are fed locally-produced hay. No grain. They finish in the fall and become delicious grass-fed beef grown on some of our best grass!


Beef Shares are sold out until late July/August 2024. Limited beef cuts available on the cut lists below and in the Variety Shares.


Pork Shares:

Pasture-raised pork! Our heritage-breed hogs live the good life here at Everyday Farm. Rubbing on trees, digging holes to lay in and cool down, eating brush and clearing land. We supplement their diet with Green Mountain Non- GMO swine feed, hay, vegetables, and whey. They love to dig up invasive brush like sumac, multi-flora rose, bittersweet, they eat the roots and leaves. Using electric fence we are able to move them to clean ground and fresh forage regularly. Pigs really can graze!
